I’ve considered making this a one sentence review: Apple Watch Series 7 has a new, larger display and it’s exquisite. Yes, that about sums it up, but Apple’s eponymous wearable is more than just a watch with a 20% bigger display, it’s a fitness gadget, and health monitor, a direction giver, a communicator, and a notification maker.

It’s better than anything Dick Tracy ever dreamed up and ready to spend all your days and nights with you without making you feel encumbered or uncomfortable.

For the seventh edition of the wildly popular smart watch, Apple chose to make mostly subtle and almost imperceptible changes to the iconic shape and body. Apple Watch Series 7 is still something of a rectangle but with the curves rejiggered to be slightly wider and smoother, giving the wearable a more elegant look. The digital crown size, shape, and position is unchanged, and the back and the visible sensors appear the same. Watch bands that worked on the last Apple Watch will fit this one like a glove.
