I’ve said it many times, the Pixelbook Go (PBG)is the very best device for writers out there. The keyboard even beats Apple’s Magic Keyboard, the device is featherlight, and the long battery life means you don’t need to worry about finding a power outlet in your favourite coffee shop. A decent enough screen and above-average speakers for under £650 leaves the PBG hard to beat.

So what the hell is going on with the absolute pile of steaming hot mess that is writing apps (or lack of) for Chromebooks?

I recently wrote about the tools I use for blogging and writing on my PBG.

iA Writer — the best so worst offender

I mainly use iA Writer and utilise a few workarounds in order to publish on Medium and Wordpress. As a tight Northern B*stard I can put up with a few extra steps to make something work. If I’ve paid for a product though, that product had better work. iA
